Kimberly June (“KJ”) is an indie-folk songwriter, performer, and producer rooted in both Nashville and Hawaii. Known for her authen-c, soul-centered presence, she cap-vates audiences with songs that are whimsical, willy, and wise—pulling from the raw and real stories of her life. At just 22, she signed her first publishing deal in Nashville, launching an early career that has since taken her across the country and the world.
KJ spent 11 transformative years in Hawaii, performing at Wanderlust Festival and opening for artists such as G. Love, Donovan Frankenreiter, Nahko, Kimie, and Mike Love. She holds endorsements with Kala, Cordoba, and QSC Audio, and her music has been featured on major TV shows including ABC’s Nashville, Love Is Blind, The Rookie, and Degrassi High. In 2024, she toured as the suppor-ng act for Nahko and Medicine for the People, performing in 15 major U.S. cities.
Originally from New England and raised in the Dominican Republic, KJ studied at Berklee College of Music and graduated from Belmont University. At 25, a[er a failed marriage and a period of writer’s block, she ques-oned her path in the industry—un-l surrendering to that uncertainty became the catalyst for her most soulful chapter yet. Today, she creates and collaborates between LA and Nashville, con-nuing to share her story with honesty, humor, depth, and heart.
