CARLY HARVEY

Based in Washington, D.C., Carly Harvey is an award-winning Blues artist whose sound fuses Blues, Jazz, Soul, and Indigenous American music. A proud Eastern Band Tsalagi and Tuscarora descendant, she is the originator of the “Native Scat,” an improvisational blend of Jazz scat and Indigenous vocables that reflects her Afro-Indigenous roots. In 2025, Carly appeared on NBC’s The Voice, Season 28 (Team Bublé), earning national recognition for her soulful tone and originality. She is a three-time DC Blues Society Battle of the Bands winner, DC’s Queen of the Blues (2016), and a Wammie Award winner for Best Blues Artist (2021). Her latest album, Kamama (2024), showcases collaborations with Louis Walker, Annika Chambers, and Dave Keller, expanding her global reach with tours across six countries and more than 70 cities. This years event will mark  Carly’s first appearance on our Going Rogue Stage.
